Can standing tall make you feel better? Yes.


"Adopting an upright seated posture in the face of stress can maintain self-esteem, reduce negative mood, and increase positive mood compared to a slumped posture. Furthermore, sitting upright increases rate of speech and reduces self-focus. " Nair et al. 2015

I first heard about posture impacting mindset from Grey's Anatomy and then Ted Lasso. I've tried posing like a superhero and acting big - it works for me. The hard part is remembering to do it.


Today, settle for less slouching so you can embrace your power by standing tall, posing like a superhero, or being big!
